At Ink and Avians, we pride ourselves on creating truly unique and personalised illustrated children's books. Each story is tailored to your child, making it a one-of-a-kind treasure. Explore our FAQs to learn more about how we bring your child's imagination to life.
Each book created will contain 30 pages of personalised story and at least 12 illustrations. This is traditional for picture books. If you wanted a special picture to be created only this can be completed with the right information please find the prices in the pricing page.

What are the most common questions you think parents will ask before ordering a personalised book for their child?
Parents often ask: "How long will it take to complete the book?", "Can I have all my children in one book?", and "How much will it cost?". We aim to answer these and many more here!
The book will take 4 - 8 weeks to create from start to your front door. Anyone can be in the book and your child can also be anything they want.
How long will it take for a personalised book to be made and delivered once an order is placed?
Once your order is placed and we have all the necessary information, your personalised book will be made and delivered within a maximum of 4 - 8 weeks.
What information do you need from parents to create a truly unique story, and how do you want them to provide it?
To create a unique story, we'll need details such as your child's name, age, hobbies, interests, pets, family members, and fun stories about their life so far. We also want to know what you'd like from the story – humour, science, true stories, fiction, or superheroes!

What should parents do if they have an issue with their order or need to make a change after it's been placed?
If you have an issue with your order or need to make a change, please contact us at InkandAvians.com as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Once you have agreed a lead character and a summary of the story you are obliged to pay and the work will have already begun.
Can I get a story created for other loved ones in my life?
Of course whilst we love to create picture books for children there is nothing to say that the big kids in your life would also love to feature in their own book written about them.
If I decide that I want to have an image created for my child who is going to university would you do it?
Of course give us a good amount of time and we can get this too you before they go. Give them something to inspire them.
What if I see something on the site that has already been created like an image and I want a copy or print of it?
Again just let us know and we will be happy to discuss that.
